Between truth and reality.

Real & True

Can a single curriculum meet the needs of all?
Or at most, can they just aim for “almost all”,
and try cover the needs of most?

True & Real

strong feelings about education

Social media is filled with pictures of the new math curriculum.
The photo above sparked a long discussion thread on Facebook.

Talking about it is a pretty good starting point, as that means there’s hope for dialog and understanding.

Truth Reel

Stories are not just told, they get related

We humans understand and relate to ourselves and each other through stories: news stories, histories, herstories. Storytellers take many forms, and ultimately history is just a collection of stories that gets heard a whole lot.
I’ve noticed that [news, his, her]stories may not be true or even real, but

their emotions are real and true.

Real Truth

I love great storytelling.

As a child, I grew up with Dr. Seuss.

As a teen, in between, I aspired to Sherlock.

As an adult, I’ve grown up watching Doctor Who.

As an aspiring writer, I’m very influenced by all three.

Real Truth Reel

Gratitude for the wise man who led me to write this,

And The Fox who kicked it all off (and kicked this off).
